I transferred to CO from NY in 1979. Back then FE Software support was one person - Hale. A few years later Bill Johnson formed the FE Software Support/Engineering group. The lunch schedule was Senor T's for Mexican on Wednesdays, Karen's for lemon meringue pie on Thursdays, and Bart's for Steak Vera Cruz on Friday's. This was long before listservs existed.

I don't remember when Meatloaf on Thursdays became a thing, but the Mexican on Wednesdays lunch group (aka Morechips) still meets just about every week. So that makes it 50+ years (when did we get so old?).

If I recall Al Sutton knew Joe (Joe’s Spoon) when he start joining us. They just happen to have a killer meatloaf special on Thursdays. Kind of went well with the Atkins thing. I wasn’t considering all the carbs in the breadcrumbs to go into making meatloaf :) Over time the Thursday crowd grew and Dave started the Meatloaf reflector so we could keep in touch.
