[Meatloaf] Anyone know/recommend a handyman for simple deck work?

Yes, the problems with Trex are now well known:
- In Summer heat, they get VERY hot -- too hot for bare feet.
- They get some sag ging.  I don't recall the amount or severity of this
problem.
.  Perhaps it was worse with generic competitors to Trex.

Also, be careful of replacement with exotic asian hardwoods, such as
"Ipe".
Raicer used this for his deck, and discovered it is VERY difficult to
install.
It is so hard it requires carbide or diamond tools to cut and drill.

But there are a lot of new woods out there, so just do careful shopping.

I have to replace a rotted 30-50 year old deck at my mountain house, and so
far I am thinking of simple redwood, or something like that.

And yes, figure on work to repair or replace rotted or missing joists.
